Janeen Meyers

Janeen, a Virginia native, grew up immersed in the Christian faith, regularly attending church services. At the age of nine, she made the life-changing decision to follow Christ, setting her on a path of purpose and service. She pursued her academic aspirations at Pensacola Christian College, earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, before furthering her education through the Social Work Program at Radford University.

It was during her graduate studies that Janeen met her husband, Josh, through ChristianMingle. United by their shared passion for foster care, the couple began fostering children in 2019. Their commitment to this cause culminated in the creation of the 1:27 House in 2024, a haven dedicated to supporting young women aging out of foster care.

Janeen currently serves as the part-time Fredericksburg Area Director for Project Belong, where she channels her passion for discipleship and outreach. Her mission is to inspire and equip believers to become disciples who make disciples, embracing the call to serve in local and global mission fields wherever God leads.
